Rick Dykema

I'm doing my best to follow Jesus' call to "Love God and Love Others." I love my wife Lindsey and young kids Grace and Lucas. I've spent a significant part of my life hanging out with teens. I coach several sports, worked with Young Life for a decade, and have served Ada CC since 2007. I love adventure and am the proud driver of a minivan.
Tanya Peterson

My husband Eric and I reside in Rockford with our four children. I have a BSW in Social Work from Calvin College. I have had the opportunity to work both as a social worker for children with special needs, and within various churches in Michigan and New England as Youth/Children's Ministry Director. In my spare time I love to garden and just hang out with my family as much as I can!

I am transplanted from Ohio - I played hand bells for 12 years at Plymouth (MI) Presbyterian Church, sang with the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus for 9 years, performed in two operas (Aida and Turandot) with Opera of Grand Rapids, and currently sing and tour Europe with the Grand Rapids Touring Choir. I have been an active church choir member since high school. I love the ministry of music and continue to be lifted by that venue daily. I have two wonderful children and a grandchild who fill me with JOY! "God Loves Bells!"

Cheryl Hillman
Receptionist
I joined the Ada CC staff in March 2009 and really enjoy the people here at Ada CC! I'm a recent grad (2008) of Fuller Theological Seminary (MAT) and my suggestion to anyone considering mid-life education is to definitely do it while you are very young or take mega-doses of Ginko Biloba! I'm married to the most wonderful guy in the whole world - my best friend, sculptor, buddy, and all-around great guy - Jack Hillman. Jack has 3 kids and 11 grandkids whom I love and enjoy dearly. We have a senior household consisting of our 15 year old dog, Honey; Chrissy-cat, 14 years old; and an old stray kitty named Mocha, estimated age of 13 - 18 years old.
