Newborns to 3 yrs old
Care for infants and toddlers is provided during the school year by two caring adults each Sunday. Children are invited to explore with age-appropriate toys.
SHINE Sunday School
Preschool through 4th grade
Sunday school follows the children’s message during Sunday services. Children are divided into classes by age to provide age-appropriate biblical instruction from SHINE Sunday school curriculum published by MennoMedia. Our vision is to inspire children in the wonder of God’s love. Prior to lessons classes combine for a brief time of music called Praise Sing.
Fun Club Sunday School
5th through 8th grades
Following the children’s message during Sunday services, our older students meet for Sunday school. Their SHINE Sunday school curriculum focuses on traditional bible stories and their application to everyday life. It includes themes on justice, mercy, hospitality, generosity, simplicity, community, and compassion.
Fun Club Youth Group
5th through 8th grades
This age group meets once a month generally on Saturday evenings for a mix of social gatherings and service projects hosted by parents and Pastor Rebecca. Friends and visitors are always welcome!
High School Youth Group
9th through 12 grades
Our high schoolers meet twice a month after church on Sundays. Gatherings take place at a variety of places around Grand Rapids, in church, or at member’s homes. The youth group also has multiple retreats throughout the year. Pastor Rick, Jackie Suderman and a team of parents lead this youth group.
Confirmation
Confirmation is offered every two years for teens in 9th and 10th grades. Older youth who have not participated before are also welcome. The next season of confirmation runs September 2026 – May 2027. Pastor Rick and Pastor Rebecca co-lead lessons and experiences based on the curriculum Confirm not Conform.
